NO CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MULTICHOICE/DSTV

I've been speaking to DSTV (021) ********** since 25 September to downgrade and then eventually cancelled or perhaps I was connected due to lack of payment. Bottom line is. I've called numerous times, have sent numerous eMails and I keep getting promised that someone will call me back but clearly the customer service is atrocious and NOBODY EVER CALLS ME BACK WHEN THEY PROMISE TO:

1. 25.09.18 I called to downgrade my account. I didn’t take down the persons name and time of call, but I called from the following landline number: (021) ********** . The person I spoke to told me they were having technical problems but she could access my account. She also advised I had a credit on my account of R441.00 and that I must call back on 3 October to confirm the downgrade to R 29.00 a month plus extra view would take place by 3 October. Total bill would be R 119.00/month 2. 02.10.18 I called to confirm downgrade had taken place. I spoke to Lebo at about 10h40am and he advised that nobody accessed my account on 25.09.18 and they would have to do a call retrieval. He said he would escalate the call and get a supervisor to call me back. Apparently there was a system problem on the 02.10.18 as well. Nobody called me back. 3. 08.10.18 I called again and spoke to Nosi at about 09h46am and told her the whole story and she advised she would look into it and get a supervisor to call me back. Nobody called me back. 4. 09.10.18 I called again and spoke to (Mikayla). She advised that she would do a call retrieval and get back to me the afternoon and downgrade my package after she has done a call retrieval. Reference number she provided me with is: ********** 4-i29 5. 10.10.18 Since nobody ever phoned me back, I then decided to eMail ********** and was advised (By Winnie Mthimkulu) that I needed to send them proof (my Telkom account) that I had called in, which I did. I gave them the time and duration of the call but I was advised (by Tessa Tucker) that this was not sufficient, so I had to call Telkom again to obtain an itemised billing, which I sent to ********** on 12.10.18 6. 12.10.18 I received a response from ********** (Juliet Mosimane) advising that they had reversed the extra charge on the account and I owe R 428.57. I asked what this comprised of and they advised it's to cover services until 25.10.18 and then the downgrade would take place. That was not what I had asked for. My services was meant to be downgraded end of September. I received another response on 12.10.18 advising that a journal has been passed on my account and as soon as the journal is approved my account will reflect the correct billing. 7. 17.10.18 - I received an sms advising that my account has been disconnected and I had to pay R 1 039.01 to reconnect. I responded that I have not had access to the services since 15 October anyway and I haven't been missing anything so they must please just cancel my entire account because the service was ridiculous. On the same day 17.10.18 I receive a response from ********** (Julia Mokoena) who clearly didn't bother to read the trail of eMail and advised my services was disconnected due to non-payment, and I needed to pay R973.07 to reconnect. I DID NOT WANT TO BE RECONNECTED!! 8. I responsed to the eMail and of course someone else at ********** responded to my eMail (Asivhanzhi Mudzanani) apologizing for the inconvenience and advising that my query has been escalated to their supervisor who will contact me. Of course, NOBODY contacted me. 8. I eMailed back on 25.10.18 advising that I have not been contacted by anyone and I wanted confirmation that my DSTV account has been completely closed and that I have no outstanding money. Response received on the same day from Zanele Khumalo advising my query has been re-escalated to the Team Leader who will contact me. NOBODY contacted me. 9. 01.11.18 - I received an sms stating that my debit order has been returned and I must pay R 617.34. I asked them to confirm my account has been closed and all outstanding money has been credited. I received a response from Brandon Marks apologizing for the lack of service and that he has spoken to his supervisor who would contact me. NOBODY contacted me. 10. By 12 November I thought I would phone the call centre again on (021) ********** and this time I asked the agent to put me directly through to a supervisor. I spoke to ********** who very nicely explained that because DSTV is paid in arrears I do owe R 664.53 according to what he can see, but he promised me that he would investigate first to make sure the amount is correct and once I pay that my account will closed. He asked me to send him ALL the correspondance, which I did, and he promised to call me on Tuesday 13 November at 10h00 to give me the correct amount to pay and close the account. HE NEVER CALLED ME BAC****!

WHAT DO I DO?? I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW UNPROFESSIONAL MULTICHOICE/DSTV IS. I'M DISGUSTED AT THE LACK OF SERVICE. I'VE SPENT SO MUCH TIME ON SOMETHING THAT COULD'VE BEEN RESOLVED SO QUICKLY BUT ALL I GET IS FALSE PROMISES AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO RATING I WOULD.
