No Choice

I am a Analogue M-Net viewer, for the past 8 years. My decoder went faulty and when I wanted to purchase a new one was told that all M-net analogue decoders are discontinued. I bought a second hand on on OLX, and when I phoned multichoice to reconfigure my signal on the other decoder I was told that it is against Multichoice policy to reconfigure analogue signals to other decoders. I was also informed that should I wish to continue having M-Net I had to get DSTV premium package, which cost 2x more than what I currently pay. Their excuse is this was because of the Governments Digital Policy.

If Multichoice was customer centric they would have considered to package M-Net with all their packages. Their unwillingness to satisfy customers or meet their requirements will mean that with the implementation of the Digital policy a lot of Analogue M-Net viewers be deprived of this privilege, just because of their greediness to make money.
