New Explora 2 Year Price Fix A Hoax???

I've been a customer of Multichoice for well over 20 years and have never missed a payment in all that time. I have an Explora and a Std HD decoder for extra view. I made a decision to invest in another Explora on the price fix deal. I have two complaints:
1. Being an existing customer for such a long time, paying top rate for an Explora Premium Package and registered on their system with a monthly debit order, they still want to do a credit check on me. Having said that, I can't just go into Multichoice at N1 City in Cape Town with bank statements, ID and proof of residence and just pick up the new Explra. Do they think that I'm going to skip the country for a R1500 decoder, after such long term commitment to Multichoice.... Which leads me to my second complaint
2. On the 9th November 2016, I phoned the call centre, got all the details of the price fix deal and was told by the consultant that she would escalate my enquiry and someone from the price fix deal department would get back to me later in the day. Yesterday morning, after waiting a week, I again phoned the call centre and spoke to another consultant. I asked him for the direct number and the manager's name of the department that deals with the price fix deal. After awhile he came back on the line after putting me on hold and promised me that my request for a new Explora would be attended to by someone before close of play for the day. I waited until just before 17h00 and phoned Mr Simon Ellis, the General Manager of Multichoice at N1 City, Cape Town. I related my story of how no one was getting back to me and I also asked about having to go through the motion of being vetted to see if I was credit worthy or not, having my long term record. He just shrugged it off and said that I shouldn't worry because I should sail through. He kinda missed the point - I shouldn't have to go through that process in the first place. I do however understand if I was a first time subscriber. Moving on, Mr Ellis said that he would get someone from Price Fix Deal to contact me in the morning and that he himself would also get back to me in the morning to give me feedback about them contacting me. All I can say is thank goodness I didn't hold my breath. Even though Multichoice is a broadcaster they still have to pay for the commercials that they make advertising their services and deals. I'm in the Film Industry and produce such commercials and I can tell you they cost millions to produce. Why do they advertise? To sell Explora's.....go figure. Spending millions to just throw it down the drain because it certainly doesn't appear that their backup service even actually exists. Having read Mr K Ismail's problem, I certainly don't want to be on the receiving end of their delivery system..... It's a bit of a stale mate if you ask me. The saddest thing about this really is, if you can't get satisfaction from the General Manager - Head Honcho - of the whole of the Western Cape, then who do you have to speak to, Ms.Yolisa Phahle, CEO, MNET???
