New app doesn't have anything new

I hope you realise how silly you look. DSTV been saying this new version of the DSTV Stream was going to bring new features but its pretty much the same. I feel sorry for the people having to respond to comments like mine. The people running DSTV and Multichoice don't seem very bright. DSTV keeps complaining about Netflix but DSTV streaming is so bad, it doesn't even have captions and not even in 4k. The problem is DSTV wants to provide the bare minimum it can but then complain about premium services like Netflix. Netflix is premium for a reason. DSTV is bargain ba*****t service.

I'm sorry for the team responding to these complaints. I am sure they are very nice people but unfortunately they are working for a company that doesn't care about it's customers and then has the audacity to complain that those customers don't want to use the service.

I am sorry but how do you not have captions on your streaming service. I am sorry but it is sincerely embarrassing that your decoder has captions but not your streaming service. It really shows how dated your streaming service software is. It really demonstrates the kind of service DSTV aims to deliver, a very dated piece of software that has no features at all. I mean no captions, no rewind feature, nothing like that. Streaming could be very powerful but DSTV aims to deliver the bare minimum possible so we get a joke of a service. They think Flash type software is the business. Yeah, they don't know the business they are in.

DSTV said this new DSTV Stream was going to make things better but it's the same service, maybe some 4k added in. But it's exactly the same, I mean hell the dashboard is the same. It's sincerely a joke.

Yeah, DSTV is a joke and they must go watch Netflix to see why they DSTV is een groot grap.

Yeah look I think it could be better than this. I sincerely hope you are working on adding captions but I don't think you are. DSTV has shown they care very little for their customers and they wonder why their customers don't like them. It's not really ok not having captions in this day and age.

I am paying full price for your service but I can't watch any movies because you don't have captions. I am sorry but not having captions by now shows how little you value your customers. It is not just deaf people that use captions.

You guys moan and whine about Netflix but Netflix has captions on every single thing. You guys have no captions at all on your streaming service, that says it all really.

Overseas sports channels have live captions. I don't complain for fun, I complain because I want to watch the sports and the movies with captions. I can't enjoy the sports and movies because you guys care so little about their customers. You have no idea how nice live captions is on live sports, you clearly don't care about your customers. Why can't you just plug in captions from the overseas sports providers, oh you can't because your software is so dated.

How do you not have captions at this point in time, how do you not have a simple rewind feature? You just bought out the same service as before and said it was "new". Sorry, it ain't new.

DSTV doesn't seem to realise that people don't like them because DSTV insists on providing a substandard service. DSTV could be providing an amazing service but they choose not to, that is the problem really. They've chosen not to have captions or any other features simply because it's cheaper. That is all it is really and that is ok, they just can't pretend to be providing a top class service.
