My DSTV Account
I have two decoders under my account, at two different residential addresses (respectively). A single HD decoder and an Explora 2. I have been, on two different occasions, been debited partial amounts - to no valid reason. I was under the impression that this was resolved in the initial instance (in Jan/Feb 2018). I also had a scheduled disconnection for both decoders, in Feb 2018, which I then cancelled prior to the end of the very same month. I have now been debited, again, a partial amount of the expected total value of what I was told to be. i.e. I have been debited R450 for March 2018. Why, if I pay one account, for both decoders, on the same date - from the very same bank account? unacceptable - it's not my fault that your finance systems have bugs. As if that's not enough to deal with...I call and speak to veronique - who ends up 'escalating' the issue to the finance team and can't commit to me receiving feedback, spends 18 minutes with me on the call and puts me on hold and gives me my customer number as a reference number. Speaking to your team leaders is an issue as they all seem to have meetings at the same time. Respecting that they do so (simultaneous meetings) - I pleaded to have a call from a TL or manager at whenever a later stage is possible...veronique couldn't even commit to that as you are alleged to move buildings/head offices and therefore she doesnt know if I will even get a call back from A team leader. 3 things: reconnect the package in soweto, ensure that moving forward you will debit the full amount required and not what tickles your finance system's fancy and have someone call me back to confirm all of this. PS: if this even a real reference number? ' ********** 6-i123'. R385 for pathetic service.
