Multichoice......what choice.....just POOR

26/02/2021 App**** for Price Lock with extraview on Sat 13/02/2021. Confirmed installation by DSTV for Friday 19/02/2021. Installer contacted me 18/02/2021 to move installation up to Thursday 18/02 2pm, which he then cancelled saying he do not receive my decoder. Upon asking for confirmed Friday appointment he could not confirm and heard nothing since. Contacted DSTV, ref no: KCTKD7 ref**********2 informed me would be escalated with installer on 22/02/2021. Still no resolve to the installation

02/03/2021 Received a call Friday afternoon from a lady from DSTV, acknowledging the problem and promising that within 24 hrs she would call back and respond further with the way forward. I asked is she sure because it was a Saturday and the response was "I will call you within 24hrs"...NO CALL

I received an email response yesterday again, saying we are looking into another installer...

3 weeks and no joy!!

Is MultiChoice service orientated or not, in my books definitely not. Call Centre is great but after sales service is terrible.

Debating getting uncapped and drop DSTV as a whole.

05/03/2021 Situation just not improving. Got no call last week, received email on Tuesday that installer will be sent out......SMS received Thursday morning that: DStv: A reminder that your installation with Brighton technology pty ltd ********** is set for today. For your security please ask the installer for the ref no. to verify themselves, ref no. KCTKD7. You can track and manage your installation at https://www.dstv.co.za/get-dstv/installers/tracking No contact, nothing.....today still nothing.

Booked at installer from Johannesburg yesterday 5pm, why is there not jobs allocated to the installers here in Rustenburg...our local Multichoice dealer?

I think DSTV Multichoice should rather cancel my service, as this is a month now that this is going on. But never scared to bill me!!

Terrible after-sales service.

I am tired of hearing acknowledgement and we are working on it.

I diligently pay my monthly fees with no resolve and upon putting through my application to improve my elderly parents watching experiencing to move our Explora to them, this process is delayed for a month already due to some incompetence.
Please do not patronise me with blind promises again again and again.

Just honest actual service delivery is what is required. But if is kip a R20 payment you disconnect my services....(as an example). This is really positive malperformance on the part of MultiChoice DSTV

It is now 10/03/2021, after receiving another call on Saturday with promises of matter being escalated and contact should be made by Tuesday afternoon to finalise......NOTHING!!

App**** and approved for Price Lock 13 February.
Five queries submitted, decoder missing in action, installer from Gauteng utilised to due installation in Rustenburg.
Original installation date Friday 19 February.....ABSOLUTELY NO FEEDBACK APART FROM LIES EVERY 2ND WEEK ONLY!!
NO INSTALLATION AS YET
