Multichoice treats it's customer's like ****

Upon enquiry to temporarily upgrade a compact package to premium I am told you can no longer do it for a day and must now upgrade for a full payment cycle i.e. one month. The pro rata amount for the month must be paid prior to upgrading so the only way to enjoy the upgraded package is to either wait a few days for the money to clear and be allocated to your account (so you pay a pro rata fee for the remainder of the month of which you then lose a few days of viewing privilege while you wait for dstv to receive and allocate payment) or you can opt to do an instant payment which the consultant so graciously advises you to do WITHOUT INFORMING YOU THAT IT COSTS between R35 and 45 rand PER TRANSACTION. Do you people understand the principal of a pro rata amount? There is nothing about being a valued customer if you force them to make expensive payments in order to enjoy a service. Do you people not know how to sell an experience or treating your customer with at least a little decency. Given Netflix recent entrance into SA's market and us now having smart TVs maybe you should start investing in a better customer service
