Multichoice too big too deal with subscribers
Summary:
1. Call centre hardly ever answers within a reasonable time
2. Automated system further delays the caller, almost always have to repeat your details two to three times
3. They overcharge you and if you pick it up they may or may not reverse it - general approach is one of the subscriber is dishonest and taking a chance
4. Billing process for holiday decoder must be *******.
5. Getting an explora is impossibly difficult - why they spend a fortune on advertising it when you cannot get it is amazing. Someone not checking up. A wait of up to two months is no uncommon. Dealing with the DPP (what does that even mean?) is pathetic and seems to be a different business to Multichoice?
6. Been a customer since Mnet days and treated like I joined yesterday. Customer retention strategy non existent
7. Mailed CEO who did not bother to respond
8. There is a general arrogance with Multichoice as unfortunately there is no competition so they do not bother about the customer.

Another one of those companies that calls themselves world class but does not bother to get the basics right.
