MULTICHOICE *****S OUR MONEY

I didn't even want to give them one star. This company takes your money without authority and then they hand you over to lawyers to collect supposed outstanding money. I had a contract with DStv on the price lock package for two years. When my two years was up I decided to cancel my contract with them all together. My understanding has always been that they deduct the monthly fee at the beginning of the month for that specific month and if you do not pay your DStv account they switch you off immediately. Well after paying my December 2017 payment (which i thought was the last payment) they went and deducted another amount of R899 on 30 December 2017. I called them and they said that it was for a missed payment in May 2017. Now i wonder how i could watch tv without them picking up that i didn't pay my account in May. I got my bank to return the money to me and at the end of January 2018 they deducted another amount of R899. I then went onto their impressed /depressed section on their website and wrote a comment there. Thandi called me regarding the comment and said that everything is sorted out. Well last week 6 April someone called me from Blake and Ass. to ask when i will be paying the R1600 . Turns out Multichoice handed me over for two month which i did not have DStv. It was disconnected on 29 December 2017. How is this fair.
