Multichoice, nowadays the disappointment is never-ending!

On Monday 9th September, I rented a movie on Box Office online. I could not watch the movie because I kept getting an error message that the movie could not be played and that I should try later. The following day I tried again to watch the movie to no avail. I contacted DSTV via their Live Chat and I also contacted them via their @DSTVCare twitter account. On both times the consultants seemed to be stumbling around in the dark with no clue of how to help me. In fact, one of them asked me to change my browser and use Firefox instead of Google Chrome. The other one asked me to reset my decoder even though I had explained that I had rented the movie out online.

So now the time that I have allocated to watch the movie is over and I have not been able to watch the movie (Mary Queen of Scots) and I have had no feedback from Multichoice even though both consultants told me that they had 'escalated' the problem.

Since I did not get to watch the movie, the very least that Multichoice can do is to give me back my money. Perhaps this will be a lesson to me because I normally watch movies on Netflix and Showmax without any issues. I don't know wht I chose to watch a movie on DSTV.

For the record, nowadays DSTV programs on Catch Up stall and one is left unable to watch the programs that they want to watch. Your system is falling apart and yet we pay you a lot of money for a compromised service. Get your act together or else some of us will have no choice but to take our money elsewhere.
