MULTICHOICE MISLEADING SMART TV OWNERS
DSTV (MULTICHOICE) decided to discontinue the use of its app's: DSTV and SHOWMAX on smartTVs, as a result many people who have specifically bought huge smart TVs are now sitting with white elephants, forced to now have to buy their new STREAMA. They have however made empty promises to people like us with huge samsung curves, subscribed to Showmax Pro that they would offer vouchers for us those who are affected, only to have egg on our faces.
There has not been any warning of the discontinuation of their apps, we had to shout at samsung, do all sorts of things, only to find that they are the problem.

Multichoice, do the right thing and help those that spent money buying huge tvs only for you to trick them!!!

I was on the line with a consultant and they tried to brush me away telling me that other smart tv users dont have problems, its only me.
I referred them to the article, she said that DSTV told them nothing.
-DSTV guaranteed streaming on a smart samsung TV
-We have a smart samsung TV that streamed and stopped
-DSTV decided to discontinue streaming on certain samsung smart tvs with no prior notification
-DSTV is being arrogant, telling me to check my TV
If this is your attitude, you are fast creating competition for yourself with these internation players like netflix and amazon because sports is your stronghold and right now we are not able to view sport on that smart tv and world cup is in a couple of days
