Multichoice-Lost Payment,Disconnected services and payment not being allocated 2 weeks later after payment and services disconnected

I paid my subscription on the 31st of Jan as per normal via EFT and my due date is on the last day of the month.

2 days later my services are disconnected and a reconnection fee is added.

I then went onto my banking APP and downloaded proof of payment and mailed it to Multichoice and got an automatic response acknowledging my query then also got an email that my query has been escalated to the finance department as my payment got lost and needs to be allocated and was reconnected and requested the reversal of the reconnection fee.

2 days later again I was disconnected frustrated as I was I called and requested my services to be reconnected and reconnection fee reversed and now frustrated tell the call centre agent about my plight.

He had the nerve to tell me to pay another months subscription in advance for March and once they find the payment they will allocate it and I will have paid for March's subscription. I flatly refused.

For such a multi billion rand business, one would think they have systems and technology to make it easy for them to find and allocate payments quickly.

2 days again later I get an sms and my services are disconnected till today I have not called them to reconnect me.

Multichoice doesn't have any competition and this monopoly of theirs needs to come to an end.

I can't watch TV till today which us the 15th of February, 2 weeks later and the payment hasn't been allocated yet I have sent them my proof of payment on the 2nd of Feb but still no services.

Here is my account no: ********** 9

Can Multichoice explain to it's customers how is that possible? For such a big and multi billion grand thriving business to neglect it's customers like that? Or is it the monopoly and lack of regard for their customers and only profits first and not being able to deliver a service still 2 weeks later ?

Please let's share similar stories and stop this big elephant from taking it's customers for granted because they have no competition and running their business as a monopoly...
