Multichoice - inefficient, disorganised, poorly trained and badly managed

I thought that Multichoice couldn't get worse. I was wrong. They only get one star because that's the lowest I can give. All I wanted to do was change the subscription to my wife's bank account. So I contacted them and they sent me a 3rd Party Authorisation. We completed it and sent it back, together with a proof of bank account., which they didn't ask for, just in case. They came back and asked for ID's, which I sent. One was a jpeg and they then said that they had to have in pdf format, which they didn't specify. So I sent that. Then they asked for authority, so I sent them that again, signed by my wife. And I sent them the proof of bank again because they seem incapable of tying together all the documents, even though every email has the subscriber number. Then they asked for a hand written letter from my wife. Why? They have a signed authority and proof of bank account. Of course, in the middle of this they cut off my DSTV, so I had to make a manual payment. So far it's taken a month to do a simple change, and it's still not done. Why don't Multichoice give details of all the documents they require and in what format in the first place? Really, time on my side and theirs and there doesn't seem to be anyone there with more than one brain cell. Who is at fault? Not the low-level people I'm dealing with. It's management, who seem incapable of recruiting the right staff, and training them sufficiently. And IT, who don't install systems that guide clients through processes. So now I will join the many people whio are deserting Multichoice. After over 20 years as a customer, I'm so disappointed in Multichoice.
