Multichoice incompetence. Now my problem

I called the call center to deactivate my subscription, 3 days before month end. My request was very clear that I did not want to be debited for the new month, 1 Aug 2015. I even requested a ref number just to make sure that I have something I could use in case I needed to query it later, because I had a feeling this is not gonna work out to my expectation.

Not to my surprise, the debit goes off and the subscription isn't cancelled. So I go to Multichoice to find out why this is? And they say it was cancelled, but somehow was reconnected. And I'm sitting there with a disinterested look on my face because what I am told is completely useless info to me.

So now, I have to submit bank statements, proof of ID, and wait 7 days for my money back, just because of an *********** operator who did not do what they were requested to do. They tell me about their procedure. Why is their procedure becoming my problem now? I thought my request was very clear. Now I have to be inconvenienced to go & queue at a bank to get bank statements & then go all the way back to Multichoice, where all of this would've been avoided by a simple disconnection.
