I received my monthly bill with an additional amount of R465.00, upon quiring it I was advised that it isa reversal from November 2016 from my bank account. I shared my ctober to December 2016 bank statements with Multichoice to prove that the R465.00 amount is non existent.

The agreement between their consultant and myself was that i pay the R795 for my monthly subscription and the R465.00 i will not pay until the issue has been resolved. My services thus far have been disconnected and reconnected twice due to this amount, and my account is accummulating reconnection fees at this point in time.

Unfortunately the agents i speak with give me different updates, some say the payment is from my account, the others say it was from Pick N Pay.

I do not have a debit order with Multichoice, i did not use my bank account to pay for the November month, the payment was made at a Pick n Pay, so if the funds reversed it should be into the Pick n Pay account instead.

Lat week i received a call from one of the outbound agents , he advised that he went through my bank statements and the amount they claim reversed is not on there. He further advised that the ghost amount has been cleared and that i need not worry about it any longer. Since then i have been disconnected twice.

My issue is, i want the R465.00 plus the reconnection fees removed from my account as it is a ghost amount. I have spoken with over 10 agents and one supervisor, the issue is still not resolved.

How does a November 2016 amount get reversed in March 2017? Multichoivce is normally very quick to cup services off if no payment has been received. If the amount was on my bank statements i would have gladly paid it. Howeve, i am not very happy with this amout and i would like for it to be removed.
