Multichoice forcing me to pay for service I dont need anymore

My billing cycle as per Multichoice ends on the 1st of each month, which was a Sunday holiday, Monday the 2nd was a holiday and I informed them that i didnt need the services anymore. They only responded to me 24hrs later informing me that they dont services in between the billing cycle, but only on the 1st. 1.Where on my contract with them has that ever been communicated to me that services can only be disconnected only on the 1st? 2. Am I NOW FORCED to pay for a service which I definitely beyond reasonable doubt am not using at this particular juncture 3. What type of a stupid IT System are they using which does not allow any other activities in the system between the billingcycle, or its the lazy employee syndrome? 4. Does that mean that if I want themto upgrade from mini bouquet to full bouquet they will refuse, why? 5. This is a way of manipulating us and robbing us of our hard earned money, m******xm

Dear Mrs I Mutahwarira

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. As per confirmation received, your invoice date is the 1st of every month. Please be advised that MultiChoice billing system runs on a month to month basis. You need to let us know in advance if you want to disconnect service to allow us to schedule your disconnection to take place before your next payment date.

Should you require any further assistance, please feel free to make use of our other communication mediums (touchpoints) below.
