MultiChoice False Advertising and ****s

Greetings.

My father who's a pensioner was ****med by an insurance company that is working with MultiChoice. My father recieved a call from an insurance company stating that they are from MultiChoice. They said my father has been offered great benefits for being a loyal customer and promised him two years of no payment regarding his subscription or continue paying and recieve a cash out payment of R23 000 (which is his total subscription fee for the two years) the catch was that he must first agree to their insurance of R60pm which will be added to his subscription monthly premium fee. This seemed legit as they had all details of his account and advised my father to go to the nearest MultiChoice office to redeem either of the two offers. However my father went to the nearest MultiChoice office and was told that indeed the insurance is real but the benefits are false, the lady at MultiChoice told us that this is a way to lure customers to take up insurances. It is careless for a company as big as MultiChoice to be linked to companies that are operating on false adverti*****ts and ****s. My father was ****med, please help.
