Multichoice exploits local community for profit
Multichoice is profiting from the Big Brother show at the expense of the Linden community in Johannesburg. Since the previous Big Brother house burnt down, the Big Brother production has moved filming to a residential area in Linden where Red Pepper is now providing the studio for filming.
This has led to the Linden community bearing the costs of the production in terms of:

1. Increase in noise levels from the Big Brother house
2. Huge increase in traffic and consequently no parking space for other businesses
3. Generator running at any hours due to load shedding
4. Noise from construction and fabrication activities on residential properties for the Big Brother production
4. Noise and disruption from weekly eviction parties

Red Pepper and the Big Brother production are flaunting zoning regulations by proceeding despite complaints.
Multichoice however is smiling all the way to the bank since it has \externalised"all the costs of the production onto the local community.
Red Pepper is dealing with the angry community while Multichoice and MNet shrugs their shoulders.

This is exploitation of the worst kind.

Multichoice please assume your responsibility."""
