Multichoice DSTV

I visited Multichoice office in Umhlanga KZN on Monday 11/09 as my decoder was not recording.I was told that the hard drive has packed up and I can take a new 2 year contract for an extra 6 rand a month and get a new Ultra decoder.I agreed and they said that I would be contacted within an hour.As nothing happened I have phoned them several times today to a landline not toll free and one call was at least 15 minutes.Later this afternoon having at last got through I was told that my application had been denied. They intimated that I was too old to take on a 2 year contract!!How do they know what my financial status is?I have been a subscriber ince 1990 with a break of 5 years while I was out of the country. At no point was a I told that I was too old. This is discrimatory. My next door neighbour had the same issue and eventually a decoder was delivered to them. They take our money on a debit order every month but now I am a risk for an additional R 6.00!This is ridiculous. They will sell me one despite my age!
