Multichoice Dstv

I have been a client with dstv Multichoice for many years and last week Saturday 27 April 2019 I called the “call center” to cancel my subscription.. I was told by the young lady that they will charge me a cancellation fee of R180 which would be deducted on the 2may 2019... why pay a cancellation fee when I am on a month to month basis with no contract per say??? But I finally agreed to the cancellation fee.. however much to my dismay on the 2may dstv Multichoice deducted the full amount of R854 I have since tried in vane to contact the so called “call center “ to enquire as to why they have taken the full amount and not the cancellation fee.. unfortunately I cannot speak to anyone as the number rings and then the call drops it’s much like trying to contact a Municipal office .. . (we all know how that goes) Anyhow I have still not been able to cancel my subscription and it seems I’m not alone as many clients have been googling how to do it.... to no joy by the sounds of things.. I would strongly advise people to think very carefully before joining the dstv family as once you subscribe it seems you cannot cancel... very much like the Eagles song Hotel California ..... you can check in but you can never leave.... If there is anyone out there that can help in this regard please advise.....????
