Multichoice don't understand
<p>Multichoice is offering a few packages to choose from. I have taken this issue / problem up with them, but didn't get a workable explanation / solution. As an Afrikaans speaking person, I believe that I am speaking on behalf of a lot of people in South Africa. The Afrikaans channel 144, KykNet on Dstv is only available on the Premium package. This is the problem... The Premium package price is R790 + R85 = R875... which is in most households not affordable in South Africa. I KNOW I HAVE A CHOICE TO CHOOSE A CHEAPER PACKAGE, BUT THERE IS NO OTHER PACKAGES THAT INCLUDE KYKNET!!! We are not interested in any of the channels from other countries or other languages, but still we have no choice but to pay for the full Premium package ONLY TO WATCH KYKNET!!! We want Multichoice to re-structure their packages to suit more people's needs.</p>

Top quality, locally-made content is expensive to produce which is why kykNET is only available on our more expensive packages.
kykNET offers a huge amount of fresh local content on a daily basis.
We do show some of the content at a later stage on kykNET & Kie, which is available on lower-priced packages.
