Multichoice doesn't care

I am a hearing impared customer of Multichoice and rely heavily on subtitles. I would like to know why certain series have subtitles for 6 episodes, and then there are no more subtitles for subsequent episodes. ***********? Don't care? What is it? Tried to call customer care, was basically told it is what it is. Very helpful.
