MULTICHOICE DE*****ING CUSTOMERS
I requested a downgrade to Multichoice from Premium to Compact in May. I was told that I needed to do the downgrade on my billing date which is the 27th of the month, this information was news to me but I comp****, I made sure that in June I did same and instructed Multichoice to do the downgrade using their WhatsApp self service followed by the call to their contact center to which the operator confirmed. The amount that I would now pay with the downgrade is R1032 for (2x 2 compact decoders, extra view and recording fee) Nevertheless the downgrade was not done and now Multichoice sends me a R1765 bill that I need to pay on the 27th of this month. I call the contact center and I am told that the downgrade was not successful. This was a shock to me that after the confirmed downgrade same was not done and Multichoice wants me to pay for services that I requested to downgrade. I am not in a position to pay this amount and require Multichoice to credit my account with immediate effect! It is no surprise that people are moving to telkom WiFi service and Netflix for better and new box office movies. If this credit is not done by the 27/07 you can kiss another customer goodbye!
