Multichoice contravenes the POPI act

I have been receiving threatening SMS messages from a debt collector, stating that my DSTV account has not been paid. Yet, I have a debit order and the DSTV call centre advises that my account is up to date! I have been holding on to speak to someone in the finance department to sort it out, for nearly half an hour, just to be transferred back to the call centre!!!! By *******ly giving my details to a debt collector Multichoice has contravened the POPI act. Pathetic useless company!!
