MultiChoice charge what they want when they want, no point in logging calls as they don't follow instruction.
I had a 2 year pricelock contract for R849.00 which ended last year June/July. Thereafter, i was debited R750.00pm. In December, i called Multichoice to stop the debit order as i had changed banks and would do an EFT, and needed the details. Before calling, i dialled *120 number to find out what was owing, and R750.00 was confirmed. I was then informed that R750.00 was incorrect? How is this MY fault? Ref # ********** 4 - I13 for the call. I did the EFT of R750.00. On the 4/5th January 2017, i was disconnected. I called and spent half an hour on the phone, i was informed that i was disconnected because THEY had not done the change over from contract, to normal DSTV installments. I was re-connected and then informed that going forward, the new Installment would be R876.00, BUT that my installment for end of Jan/Feb was R402.00 odd. On the 30th Jan i did the EFT rounding it off to R405.00. On the 31st i got a text saying that my account would be DEBITED with R976.55. I spent 45min on the phone last night, firstly, with an agent that was so derogatory i requested to speak to her manager. Niel Lyons REF I32, which did not go any better. My plan had never been changed over and my debit order never cancelled as requested. He was not sure why i was told to transfer R405.00 but that i was still liable or i would be disconnected. So DSTV, what is it, R750.00 or R876.00 or R976.55 - which i will not pay!!! Why has my debit order not CANCELLED as requested. There was mention of R102.50 TOP UP - FOR WHAT. Go back to the call on the 4/5th Jan and listen to the conversation where i specifically asked TWICE, if the R402.20 was correct. The debit order will bounce, i will be charged for that - R110.00? I will be disconnected. Your service and total confusion of EVERYTHING, is baffling!!!!!
