Multichoice bulling clients to pay for services they never asked for!

I sometimes connect my multi choice (Decoder) to watch certain sport events. This is done on a month to month basis and if I do not want to watch further I stop payment. My services are then cut which is perfectly acceptable. A re-connection fee is then charged every-time I want to watch again. Perfectly acceptable. However, Multichoice handed me over to lawyers for services that they charged me for, which I was not aware of, or requested in anyway. They extended my viewing period with 7 days. I was not informed of this in anyway, and was never given the option to accept or decline this extended period. I also never received one single notification, letter, email or correspondence stating that I owe Multichoice any monies. I just got a SMS from the lawyers, debt collectors to settle my account. After contacting Multichoice, I was told that they extended my services for 7 days "voluntary from their side". They offered voluntarily and I am now liable for services I never wanted, and most probably never used! If you offer services or product voluntarily, or without the clients knowledge, how can't you charge for it???? My payments made are for a set period and it remains my choice to extend my period if I so wish to do so. Mutli choice is obviously loosing market share and now is resorting to bulling and ********* tactics to recoup monies that don't belong to them.
