MULTICHOICE ARE *******!!! BE CAREFUL

This issue started back in November 2019 where I decided to take up a Multichoice “special offer” which included an Explorer decoder and free installation. An installer came out in January 2020 (yes, 2 months later!) after about 6 calls to their call centre begging them to send somebody to do the installation. These calls ended with 6 reference numbers and a false promise, or a cut call when asked to speak to a supervisor. When the installer eventually came out he said he cannot do the installation as “the voucher had already been redeemed”. I called Multichoice again and they promised to sort it out and I never heard from them again. I decided to drive to their offices and demand an explanation. I was “helped” by a rude and arrogant Priscilla Segopa. Ive dealt with people at home affairs who has given better service. It was close to closing time and she was in a hurry to go home and she made it clear that she did not want to help me. She called her manager, Johannes Ngobeni, who assured me that he will escalate the matter.

Since the 29 Feb, there has been an email trail to the following people asking for assistance- Trevor Mitchell, Norma Nodwele, Johannes Ngobeni and Amelda Setsiba with no response to my requests and compensation plan. Im assuming these are managers who also dont care too much for customer service as there is no decency to send a reply. Please note, IM PAYING EVERY MONTH WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO VIEW. To this date, The decoder has not yet been installed after 4 months!!!!! And the above mentioned names are ignoring my emails.

Clearly Multichoice does not value their customers, even though other viewing options are available. They are losing customers at the rate of knots but they don't seem to care. As long as they can get your money, whether you can watch tv or not, they dont care... *******!!! You have a better chance of service delivery from government!! These people dont care!!! The Soweto Derby was playing and most of the consultants were watching the game when I went to complain. Absolute joke!!!!! I advise anybody to AVOID MULTICHOICE at all costs. They are in competition with Eskom for the title of worst service. Rather get yourself uncapped wifi and stream your viewing.. might even work out cheaper. These people dont deserve to be in business. I called Netflix, a call centre based in USA, my issue was resolved in an hour.. Companies like Mutichoice that give this kind of service is one of the reasons we a third world country and now in junk status.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!
