Multi choice is hounding me

I stay in George and have a flat at the beach where I spend the summer. I usually move to the flat in November/December and then activate my Dstv premier package for the summer which is usually up to the end of April. I don't set up a debit order as it is usually a big issue to stop it when I move back to George in May. I do a month to month EFT for my monthly subscription and it was communicated with Multi choice when I activated my membership the end of 2017. As I locked up and moved back to George in May this year, I didn't make another payment. Multi choice for some strange reason didn't discontinue my membership when they didn't receive my payment and I'm now being harassed by debt collectors for R218 which according to them owe them. I have spoken to Multi choice several times but they keep on hounding me for this amount. It is not my problem that they kept the signal going for a period for which I didn't pay or and wasn't there to utilize. If you don't pay your cell phone, gym membership, medical aid etc your membership/cover will be suspended with immediate affect. I can't be kept responsible for the systems which are not working as they should.
