MR

Last month i paid R174 short on my DSTV account but 1-3 days my account was suspended because of that R174 whereas i still had a credit balance to keep me atleast running for a couple of days, as i was disconnected i was on my way to pay at PnP only to find out that i have been charged recconection fees. I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE WAY I HAVE BEEN CHARGED BY MULTICHOICE. PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE I AM REALLY NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY I AM CHARGED AND TREATED MY DSTV CUSTOMER NO: ********** 0

Good day Lindo Zondi

DStv service is a month-to-month contract - when you pay your subscription, the contract for that month is fixed. Any short payments will result in service interruptions.

Your payment date is on the 25 of every month. You made payment on the 30th as a result your service was suspended. Any account that is short paid or paid after the payment date and get disconnected will be charged a reconnection fee on activation.

Please be advised that we have reversed the reconnection fee on your account.

Feel free to contact us should you require any further assistance.

Regards

Rupert

Best regards,

LZ

Yes i am aware of that its a month-to-month contract as a result should i get suspended and reconnect in between my payment date, the payment due to me will NOT be equavilent the total monthly payment because my subcription will be less than a month before my monthly payment. If multichoice can be able to calculate less as such i dont see why they CANNOT do it vise versa rather than accumulating more fees on the account
