<p>I am extremely annoyed with this highway *******.<br />I was on the DSTV family package. Saturday afternoon thought I will support the Lions and watch their game. Thinking well the upgrade until the end of the month won’t be that expensive and I can downgrade. WELL!! Trying to do this this morning just to be told that this is not possible I must now first pay for August the premium fee and then I can downgrade for September. <br />DSTV ***??!! I do not have the money to stay on the premium package. I will most certainly be disconnected for non-payment and probably have to pay a reconnection fee as well.<br />Thank you for allowing me to watch the semi-final BUT I now need to think of something to tell my 9 year old why we can’t watch tv for the rest of the month.</p>

The DStv service is a prepaid service for a full month - when you pay your subscription, the contract for that month is fixed.
You can downgrade once a month on the day your subscription payment is due. For this reason, we schedule your downgrade request to execute on your next
You can upgrade your DStv package at any time to watch a specific sporting event or catch a specific show, then downgrade again on your next payment date. When you upgrade, you need to pay in the difference between your current package and the upgraded package for the time left until your next payment date.

This is absolutely *******. I have in the past upgrade in the middle of the month and then just pay the difference for the period until the end of the month NOT included for the next month.
