Mobile Coverage descrimination in areas
I ask a year back what is your plan for also make it possible to give us in Sabie Mpumalanga area also mobile coverage<br> <br> You did not respond with a plan of action.<br> <br> At this point it is very unfair that areas have coverage and other not. Give all your clients the same service than to discriminate.<br> <br> All i want is a plan of action put on the table to know if our town and other areas part of your plan or not, must we hope or believe in something stil in future or rather know the truth and accept that we are the outcast.<br> <br> Hope there is a reply!

The coverage map on the DStv Mobile website reflects the approximate coverage of the DVB-H transmitters. Extensive testing and research has been done and every care taken to give you an accurate representation of the DVB-H signal coverage area. The signal strength and coverage may vary for various reasons such as topography, building structures and other factors beyond our control.
DStv Mobile coverage is not available in Sabie Mpumalanga. The licence DStv Mobile was awarded by ICASA required them to have coverage in the nine major cities of South Africa.
Future coverage will depend on take up of the service. The nine major cities refers to the major cities in each province: Johannesburg; Pretoria; Port Elizabeth; Polokwane; Mbombela; Rustenburg; Cape Town; Durban and Bloemfontein. This was modeled around the service being available in the FIFA 2010 world cup host cities.
