Mnet channels Blackout 07/10/2016

On 07/10/2016 at +/- 21:30 all multichoice subscribers experienced a blackout on all.mnet channels on dstv. Bear in mind, I own an explora, I'm on the premium package and I pay for extra view. As I write this story it is 07/10/2016 at 22:45 and no services have been restored.

I posed a question on the dstv Facebook page and received no response and again on twitter and received no response. My question is:

Here's my question: 2 HOURA WITHOUT ANY MNET CHANNELS, WILL WE BE BILLED FOR FULL SUBSCRIPTION WHEN DSTV/MULTICHOICE HAD THE ERROR? I mean this is affecting everyone, not just one person. So clearly this is a multichoice error. And if @DSTV doesn't want to respond to me, it's okay, I will take this further.
An apology means NOTHING when I pay for a service!

With that said it took 40 minutes for dstv to update their social media platforms and even then all they offered was a measly apology

Kind regards
MultiChoice Enquiries team
Good day,
I do hope that your reply will not mirror the reply that I received on Facebook messenger and from multichoice's enquiries email address which was that full service has been restored.
I am not complaining about how long it took for service to be restored, but I am complaining that with the close to 3 hours (as at midnight on 08/10/2016) ALL Mnet channels were done. My complaint is that how does multichoice then justify billing me for a full month of viewership when for close to 12 hours not all the mnet channels were up and running? Bear in mind that I am a premium subscriber so not being able to tune into any Mnet channels for close to 3 hours is honestly unacceptable! We cannot be billed for a full month when this was a multichoice error and not an error with our decoders or an error due to the weather.
I shall await your response regarding how we can justifiably pay for a full month considering the 12 hour problem.
Sincerely,
Lerato Ngobeni
