Misrepresentations by DSTV and Debt Collectors - Shapiro Shaik Defries and Associates

Worst service I have ever received in 10yrs I have been with DSTV Premium Account Holder. I recently closed my account with DSTV and several months later I am still being contacted by the firms debt collectors - Shapiro Shaik Defries and Associates who are Misrepresenting themselves. This firm contacts me weekly with incorrect information either on my account or the balance due. I've even had call centre agents put the phone down on me. I have spoken to DSTV several times, I even have a letter from DSTV that my account is paid in full and yet there chosen representative company refuses to take any form of confirmation from me - stating I should contact DSTV to clear the matter up. At this stage I'm stuck in a loop between DSTV and Shapiro Shaik Defries and the fact of the matter is - I no longer have an account with DSTV and My account was paid in full and yet Shapiro Shaik Defries seems to think they can get away with harassing customers and treating them like they do. I have laid a formal complaint with NCR - debt counselling disputes a week ago and waiting a response.
