Misleading Information and Unsolicited calls
I am writing to express my disappointment with the way MultiChoice operates its business. On 3rd September 2024, I received a call from a call center agent named Kutlwano Moloi, who claimed to be calling from MultiChoice (phone number: ***). She informed me that my monthly premium would be reduced and assured me that I would notice the reduction in my next payment. However when I went to Pep store today to make a payment, I was told that I needed to pay over R400, which I refused to pay. This misinformation is unacceptable and has caused me significant inconvenience. Further more, I find it troubling that agents like Kutlwano Moloi, who provide false information, are allowed to represent your company. Such practices undermine trust and prey on elderly customers to earn commissions. I also request that I no longer receive calls from MultiChoice. Should I need to upgrade my services, I will do at my own discretion by visiting one of your stores. I expect an apology for this encounter and a resolution to ensure this does not happen again. Thank you for your attention to this matter
