MISLEADING ADVERTISING

The following statement appears on the DSTV web site

"We’ve listened to our customers and updated our holiday viewing service to make it easier for you.

The biggest change is to what used to be the prepaid option – if you want to activate your holiday home and still keep your main home active, you don’t need to pay upfront anymore. Simply activate your holiday home, enjoy your viewing while on holiday, deactivate when you come back and then pay for the days you actually watched with your next DStv payment.

This is how easy it is to take the power of great entertainment with you"

I activated my holiday card on 08/12/2016 and on 28/12/2016 my bank account was debited for viewing in December and for January 2017. This is contrary to the above statement. No refunds are possible and I will be credited with the period not utilised when I deactivate my "holiday card"
