Misleading Advertising
<p>i, like many subscribers have to pay a lot of money to stay connected. now this is the second time i'm doing this as i received a poor excuse for misleading advertising. if the channel is named "History", then play history related programs. "National Geographics", then show programs related to it. "Storage wars, container wars, shipping wars, etc should have their own channel, " car restoration, classic cars, **** my ride" should have their own channel and so on.</p> <p>Not a threat, but i would not like to go to The Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa (ASA) about the channels names and what programs are on there.</p>

Misleading Advertising is still going on strong on DSTV. Dinah, you have referred my query to the relevant department for further assistance. Seriously Dinah, do not call me and not follow up on your statements. i have still not received any feedback since Thu 21/04/2016 11:50 AM. I think that Multichoice is taking all its subscribers for a fool when they post negative things on hellopeter. i have an elderly father, possibly like many people. he read the menues or see the buttons very well, so i select the channels and autotune it in for him the night before. not being elderly, he likes the National Geographics or History. i cannot as most of the programs do not contain what the channel's name is advertising. Without this been a threat, i want to place a call to the The Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa (ASA) and they can give me some advise.
