MILKING THE CONSUMER

So my service has been disconnected due to an amount supposedly due. The subscription is paid every month a minimum of 8 days before due date. Have never missed a payment other than in the early days when there was a debit order and they put through the incorrect amounts or not not on the due date so cancelled the debit and have for the last 25 years paid eft. Now when I contact DST the call center advise that I have been short paying since 1 April. I lost my cool and said impossible because I pay the same amount every month. After much discussion it now turns out that since 1 April even if you are a premium subscriber every time you go to catch up there is an extra charge, if you rewind there is an extra charge, if you record there is also an extra charge and so on and on. The more I tried to explain that this is part of the premium package and decoder the more she just ignored me. She then offers me a discount of R155.00 blocked for 2 years on condition I take out a debit order. I then really got upset no one or company must force me to take out a debit order so I can get the discount. I would rather cancel DSTv completely and go elsewhere and a lot cheaper than be milked for nonsense and not advising consumers of this new thing. Have other loyal consumers found this exorbitant or are they even aware that this is the new modus operandi. I am so frustrated. Oh and by the way they dont even give a pensioners discount.
