Make Subtitles a requirement!!!!
Disappointed with DSTV...The subtitles for many of the channels are not visible. This has been my nemesis for some years as my mom is deaf. Her only source of entertainment is dstv. I have reported it several times on various platforms and the reply back is...your decoder is faulty or the favourite one...that channel does not have subtitles..which is utter nonsense. Sad that they do not support the deaf or hard of hearing. Sign language is now considered the 11th official language in SA.

17 Apr 2024, 09:41Hi there,there is still no update on the subtitle issue reported.I was told by an agent I need to upgrade the decoder to an explorer as the basic decoders cannot accept subtitles.This what you would call a hostage crisis as they force you to upgrade!!! It pains me every month to pay for such shocking service.
