Listed on ITC as a slow payer
In December 2015, we decided not pay for DSTV as we hardly watch TV after making the full payments. In February 2016, I was surprised to hear that my name had been listed on ITC as a slow payer. I thought DSTV was a month to month contract ( pay and receive service). This is not the case. I was informed by one the DSTV agents that there was an amount that was reversed from my credit card hence I owed an amount of R700. I queried this and asked for more information on why it was reversed only a month later. I have not received any clarification as yet. I ended up paying the full amount.

It has been over a week now, after requesting for a letter to clear my name from ITC, this is still to happen. I have sent an email to [Email Removed] case number: ***. This is also still pending.

I was informed that my services were turned on without my knowledge and therefore it was my responsibility to make sure the services were off and liable for the liable for the full amount.

My vehicle finance was declined because of this listing, which has set my scoring to less than 700 on ITC.
