fell behind with my payments due to unforseen circumstances. They never phoned or switched my tv off. So i eventually made a payment arrangement so that i could make right what i owe. Well as they said it was a clidge in their system. Anyway, made payment arrangement to pay monthly installment & payment towards arrears=R1723. 00 but i must do debit order, according to them. At first i was hesitant and reluctant to do debit but did it. First debit order came off.... R3500, went to bank reversed the debit and paid the agreed amount. Next month came R2700 debit. Went to bank and reversed and cancelled the debit order and paid R1723 as agreed. The month after that, waited to see of debit order comes through. Nothing.... So i said to hell with it, i phoned them.... "we will escalate the call, thry will phone me in 48hrs. 2 days go by, 3 days, 1 week, phone again, same story, wait.... Wait wait.... Nothing. I jave phoned them numerous times and they still didn't get back to me. Few months later they switched my tv of i paid the installment and asked them to reconnect. They did. Next day off as i am in arrears. I told them my story they said they wil escalate the call. Ok fine. Wait again. Finally i get an email from repayment arrangement and we came to an agreement via email. It works out to +-R1600. I told them that if they can guarentee me that they will debit the argreed amount then i will give my concent. They did not reply. Next day i received that debit order has been loaded of an amount of R899. I emailed them what the hell this was not the agreement.... Please explain.... No answer received till today..... Tonight debit goes off for R12059.00..... Now please explain does this look like the agreed amount? I have email proof.... MultiChoice DStv are *******. They are *****. !!!

Hi Rupert
I have phoned DSTV numberous times for the past 6 months and everytime i get told we are escalating your request and that i will be phoned back in 48 hr. and 48 hrs come and go and then turns in to a week and then weeks, i keep on phoning. and no one ever phones me back. I am being curtious by paying back the money due to DSTV's System Glitch for a whole year that they did no deduct money off my bank account, and not once in the whole year did they ever phone me to say my account has not been paid and not once did they suspend my account. December 2016 i received the phonecall to say i was a whole year behind 12 months with payment. According to my knowledge it was being debited. And they told me it was not. So basically i am being nice by trying to pay the money back and then they ***** me over like this. I did make a payment arrangement then for R1723 and then the first month R3500 gets debited, i reversed it and then paid the agreed amount, and then month after that they debit R2500 and i reversed it again. I can't get hold of billings because their phone just rings and rings and rings. Then they tell me i owe R7000 something rand which makes more sense as i have made payment already so obviously it should come down. and then 2 weeks after that i owe them R9000 something of which i have Paid R800 one month and R800 the next month just to keep the tv going for my son. and awaiting Price lock to contact me so that we can sort this out. But yet no one has phoned me. Then out of blue i get an email. So i said ok fine lets make an arrangement. Which i have email proof...... And please understand, i NEVER gave them concent to do a debit order what so ever as i asked them to guarentee that the agreed amount will get deducted. And next moment i get sms that debit order has been loaded for R899 which i thought ok that is just weird. and then the R12059 was debited of my account. I am frustrated because now i have a bad name and i am trying to fix things but they just lie and do what ever they want. This is *****. If this does not get resolved as soon as possible i am left with no choice to take this further with my lawyer.

I still haven't heard anything from anyone........... Please don't leave me with the only option i have left, by taking it to my lawyer.

Please accept our apologies for the delayed responds.
Your concerns were escalated to finance in regards to your Price Lock Payment arrangement. the feedback receive was that you were advised to pay R2500 to activate the payment arrangement.
A payment of R2500 was received on the 2 March 2017 however the payment was reversed on the 7 March 2017 as stated in your second reply.
This resulted in the cancellation of your standing Price lock payment arrangement. In view of this your concerns were re-escalated to Price lock and Finance team for urgent review.
Feedback will be provided by written or telephonic correspondence as soon as more information becomes available.
Once again, please accept our sincerest apologies for the delayed reply and the inconvenience you have experienced in this regard.
