Lack of explanation leads to decline for Price Lock - cant reapply?

I recieved my call back today to apply for the Price Lock option. We go through the whole process and only realising now that "nett HOUSEHOLD income" means the combined total of both mine and my wife's income - I only confirmed my nett income. I didnt realise this at the time nor was the consultant very helpful in explaining this on the call - given that I dont deal with applications on a daily basis I think this should be properly explained when its requested. I'm then told the aplication is declined I can reapply in 30 days - really? I get an SMS saying its declined and I should call the customer care centre for more details. I call the customer care centre - spoke to the agent explained the what happened and mentioned I think this is the reason why it declined - she spoke to her supervisor and he tells her I can only reapply in 7-10 days. I ask is it really necessary to wait, I was told yes as the application declined today but she will try to get someone to call me in 5 days instead of 7-10 days. I've ensured my credit rating and profile have been in good standing, I have also just completed a previous price lock plan with you and have been with DSTV for the past 5 years never missing a payment with you so you have enough history on me. I find it ridiculous to have to wait 30 days or 7 -10 days or 5 days to reapply, when there was a simple mistake coupled wit a lack of explanation of what is required by your agent on the application. The other thing that annoys me is the agent I spoke to when I called in said she explained this to her supervisor and he makes no effort whatsoever to resolve the issue and get my application reprocessed - is this customer service? Its like 9 out of 10 times of dealing with DSTV leaves me frustrated as a customer.
