Keeping clients by preventing cancellation
I want to cancel my DSTV but I can't do it on the self service and the call centre IVR doesn't give me options to do so, then drops my call. So your plan is to keep clients by preventing them from requesting cancellation.

To solve my problem, I will use this record to refer to if you don't terminate my DSTV immediately as requested here. Please contact me only to notify me that the account is closed.

25 Feb 2015, 19:10Hello cjkalan,
We are unable to disconnect your services in the middle of the month; however the scheduling tool online will enable you to schedule your disconnection for your next billing date (23 March 2015).
We have processed the schedule to disconnect for this date.
Previously, we allowed you to upgrade, downgrade or suspend your DStv package any time during the month. Our DStv service is a month-to-month contract - when you pay your subscription, the contract for that month is fixed.
Yes, in the past we allowed changes to your DStv package at any time of the month - this was a concession on our part as our systems couldn't facilitate it.
We've now implemented a tool to schedule your upgrades, downgrades or suspension of services.
