Just ignoring facts

After my original complaint regarding unwanted credit at DSTV - where I stopped paying as indication of no longer wanting service, but DSTV still provided service unasked for and then billed me for said unwanted viewing time. Someone messaged me a few times - we argued subject in circle - DSTV said they provided grace period (viewing on credit essentially) - I said I did not ask for credit - they said they provided it - I said I did not apply for credit - they said they provided it - I said its a pay before viewing system they said they provided service - i said I did not want. Now DSTV has just gone quiet - like you will pay this amount - Last message was some one will get hold of me --- to date - nothing

Good day Dave Allen

Thank you for bring this matter to our attention.

DStv service is a month-to-month contract - when you pay your subscription, the contract for that month is fixed.

It is the responsibility of the subscriber to inform MultiChoice before the next payment date that they will not be using the service for the upcoming month.

Should this not be done the subscriber will be liable for any additional cost accumulated on the account.

We have no record of you requesting service to be disconnected, as a result you are liable for the outstanding amount.

Feel free to contact us should you require any further assistance.

Kind regards

Rupert
