Jumping/Skipping/Missing Episodes on series

Jumping/missing out episodes on Series. Current ar 16h51 Chicago PD New episode should be episode 2 but have episode 3. This has been happening frequently this year with latest Survivor South Africa having had 2 of the episodes skipped only to be replaced into the sequence weeks later. One was episode 15. This defeats the purpose of sequence in such a show as each moment of discussion and voting is essential to understand how the game is being played. PLUS CURRENT at 16h59 I see that episode 20 has been skipped . Having watched episode 19 there is now 21,22,23 and 24 on screen. How long before 20 is added in? 4 weeks? PLUS episode/s have been skipped and replaced weeks later on latest international Survivor! Same dilemma. I don't recall others as at the time I considered it a simple mistake. But I've come to realize that the mistakes are not immediately rectified. DSTV viewing of series that I do watch is inevitably UNWATCHABLE. No Quality control. No Quality provided to customers. I wonder what the Sponsor of the prize of the car on Survivor SA had to say when that episode was skipped and only added weeks later - but to what purpose. I for example had decided after waiting weeks to simply move on and ignore that an episode had been skipped. Only to hear later that someone spoke of when they had won the car. Is that how the advertisers are treated?
