insurance benefit deficiency..
Good day,
Smart card number -
I insured my HD decoder with Multichoice and unfortunately the device malfunctioned and I took it in for replacement.
I was told that the model I have is no more in production and was offered a Explora3 termed as a upgrade. Unfortunately, I did not accept as I do not agree the option represented an upgrade. When I called the insurance call centre I was referred to the terms and conditions. My argument is very simple, I paid for a benefit and want to be put into the same position that is the ability to record 2 different channels which the Explora does not provide.
I feel that in the absence of ********* and devious practise, I deserve to be placed in the same position, in fact, that is the nucleus of insurance that the client be placed in the same position as when he suffered the loss. The offer/option does not do that. If as your call centre agent mentioned in a similar position is to be understood, with the offer of the Explora , my position is not similar nor is it an upgrade because I ability which I had before my machine gave in, is that I had the ability to record 2 channels and that is what I believe I am due!!!
I believe that you are making your problem with not having the same device/machine my problem which it is not!!
Please do what you have to do to place in me in the position I was…
Kind Regards Harold ***
