Incorrect credit profile listing

MultiChoice has advsersely affected my credit profile by listing my payment details on the ITC however i have never had a multichoice account!!!!

i have spoken to several people in the contact centre and this has all been nothing but a waste of my time, the staff are incapable of assisting me with regards to this issue and cannot answer any credit related questions! When i gave them my ID number an account with someone else's name, surname, telephone and address populates yet they saying that i need to prove that this is not me.

Not a single person can advise me on there credit vetting process, if this process was functioning correctly this situation would not have arisen! The account details that they have do not correspond with my details on the ITC yet somehow they managed to approve this account after a vetting process and to make matters worse they then sent an advserse listing to the bureau stating that the debt has been written off due to non - payment.

how is it possibe to firstly approve the account application and secondly to update the credit profile if none of the details given to MultiChoice matches my details on the ITC apart from the ID number?

i am the collections administrator at a large financial services provider, it is my duty to keep abreast of trends in the financial industry and the NCA as well as the CPA.

MultiChoice is in contravention of the NCA by not doing a proper credit check, if they had then they would have seen that the information provided by whoever opened the account was contradictory to the information at the bureau!!

i expect a response on this matter and for my credit profile to be cleared of this incorrect information, it is not necesary for me to even open a case of ****** identity because MultiChoice has information that does not match that which is on the ITC, this alone has enough merit to prove that it is not me!!!!

I am also reporting this information to the credit ombudsman!

i first made contact with MultiChoice on the First December 2016, my call reference is: ********** 2/i5 , i was promised a call back before the end of business on that day, it is now 7 days later and i have still not received that call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
