Incorrect Billing
I had a pricelock plan that expired in may. I received a message from dstv that my monthly bill would now be R 899,00 a month. This month I received my account and now it is R 1170,00. If this is not corrected I will be canceling my contract with DSTV.

Thank you for contacting us.
According to our records, the next payment due on 30 June 2018 is R1077.00. This amount includes R178.00 which is a pro rata balance from 30 May to 29 June 2018, for both Premium and Access service fee.
In total, when the monthly subscription fee of R899.00 added to the pro rata it gives R1077.00. When the Price Lock contract ended, your credit remained was transferred to your normal DStv account.
This credit R721.00 was insufficient to keep your DStv service active till 29 June 2018. Hence the pro rata balance is charged.
