Incomplete work and mistakes from multichoice

In 2008 i bought a decoder for my parents and later on transfered to his name i think around 2010 or later on, his details was transfered to the account including his banking details that still exist in the account, he stopped paying the account which is non of my business because its his account. This year i get a new decoder and open a new account now i struggled to get it linkedto the smartcard and decoder.I contacted dstv via facebook with no help they gave me the customer care number and i spoke to Refilwe(not sure of name)03.02.16 20:10 11m37s i explained all this and issue about old decoder in my dad's name and she explained he owe i told her i want a new account but she told me my account willl be R900+ i disputed saying its 2 different people and there is no link to the 2 accounts she then said i dont have to worry i must deposit and call them to specify i paid for the Family pack and just talk to my dad to pay that was fine, today i paid and called spoke to lady called Sibongile and she is singing a different song, the money i just paid is paying my dad's account now. I want my money back and you can keep your dstv it was a bad choice i made to choose DSTV.

Hello rumstein,

Please accept our apology for the delayed response.

According to our records, it has been brought to your attention that you need to settle the balance owed first in full. When the account is fully paid you will be able to link the decoder and smartcard online.

Currently, the account has an outstanding balance due for payment. It is not possible to process the refund when there no credit reflecting in your DStv account.
