On the 01/12/2015 I called Multichoice and requested that they disconnect my DSTV as I had moved places and would not be needing the service for the month of December. I was informed by the Branch Manager that this was not possible as I was on a month to month contract and my billing date had already passed. It appeared that Multichoice was going to milk me of my hard earned cash even though I made them aware that I could not use the service. I still have not connected the DSTV as I will only be moving to my new place of residence on the 01/01/2016. Later during the same month on the 09/12/2015 I received a call from Multichoice again to verify some information. At the end of the discussion the lady asked if she could assist me with any thing else. I then narrated the story of the 01/12/2015 and to my surprise she revealed that what I had requested was possible. The account was now sitting at R328 but when I had made the request the account was still sitting R175. I have since paid the outstanding amount but I am very upset that I had to foot a large bill because of the incompetence of a person who holds such a high position in the company.
