*********** people, *********** system, *********** branch, *********** call centre, *********** process, *********** selfhelpservice, *********** online service.

it has been more then 30 days since we agreed to have multi decoders installed Since 28 Novemember our account has been suspended 6 times (suspended on a weekly basis. The 1st time an effort was made to drive to nearest branch to have it fixed. Multichoice agreed that they tried to charge us per decoder and apparently fixed it the same day.

On a weekly basis our service has been suspend. Valuable time was spent on various platforms to have the issue fixed. Calls has been logged every time. All the call centres can do a re-connect but without compensation for time spend on the phone while investigating. roughly 20minutes each time spend on the phone.

on the 17th the call that was logged after been reconnected, specifically stipulated that reconnecting is not fixing the problem, but that technical support need to investigate why the system disconnect it every few days automatically, but this was obviously not done as nobody feedback anything afterwards. And the service has been disconnected every few days ever since. ********** 6I77 is 1 of the ref nr's I got. Maggie, Halia are some people I remember names that promised to have it fixed.

23rd I demanded a more senior person to return my call. According to her knowledge she couldnot recognize on the system that we were charged per decoder. (even after I told her, I can proof this with the sms'e we received from DSTV. She was suppose to investigate and have it fixed. Obviously was unsuccesfull to date. no feedback yet which confirmed the investigation and fault finding by a more senior person couldn't be done either.

My 1st call that was made stipulated that the system will recognize my contact and account details automatically and no need to go through the complete ID verification process. This obviously is also not working and every time I phone have to verify all various details, which is costing money in airtime

I would like for DSTV to have this issue resolved. It is absolutely inconvenient as it is school holidays, we have friends and family and kids over to enjoy the DSTV, etc. But every time spend hours on a phone or in front of the laptop trying to find some kind of platform to have a proper solution.

By the way, there is no online platform to have a proper complaint with proof that anybody is actually looking at my problem or an sms to verify my issues that was reported and indication as to where they are in terms of investigation

A desperate Consumer
